Care Guide | Rhaphidophora foraminifera 'Yellow Variegated'

Allow the top half of the soil to dry out between waterings. Ensure the plant is not sitting in water, as it can lead to root rot.

Keep the soil evenly moist during the growing season. Pine bark, perlite, and peat moss combined or a mixture designed for tropical plants work well.

Bright, indirect light is what Rhaphidophora foraminifera 'Yellow Variegated' prefers. It can survive in lower light levels, but stay out of direct sunlight since it might burn the leaves. It can tolerate average indoor humidity levels but benefits from slightly higher humidity.

  • Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength every 4-6 weeks during the growing season

  • Prune yellow or dead leaves with clean scissors or pruning shears to promote new growth and maintain the plant's appearance
